Iranian ‘Lable’ on Scandinavian filmfest

Iranian short film ‘Lable’ is slated to vie at the Scandinavian International Film Festival in Finland.

The film directed by Mohammad Shahrestanaki has qualified for the fifth edition of the event.

A 2019 production, ‘Lable’ has two main characters starring Mehdi Qamar and Nima Qorbanzadeh.

“On the verge of getting married, Mohsen suddenly breaks up without mentioning the reason,” a short synopsis of the film reads.

“Scandinavian International Film Festival serves as a cinematic cultural template for emerging, talented filmmakers who wish to express their uniqueness through the lens of past excellence while exposing themselves to the latest innovative concepts in the arts,” official website of the event wrote.

The 5th edition of the festival is slated for August 21 – 24, 2020.
